Curriculum
This is the knowledge base - the core math concepts - that you need to know to successfully do MathCounts problems.
Ideally, we would have been meeting since September to proceed with weekly meetings through this material. As it is, we didn't. So, 'Plan B' is: each student has the personal responsibility to learn the material below during the winter break. The MathCounts problems use (at least) the math concepts in these documents. Please download each file, read the material, and do the problems. Some of it is review, and as you progress there is bound to be new material - don't panic! Send an email to request the solutions to check your answers. We can discuss concepts during meetings if you have further questions, and of course, help is available via email.
